A Los Angeles native, Fierro studied at the Conservatory of Fine Arts of Los Angeles. Specializing in dry media, his first show was a collection of charcoal expressionism and abstraction. He started working in installation art in his late-teens with a concentration in light and large construction. Fierro studied at the CCA in San Francisco, majoring in Wood Furniture design and construction. He has consulted with lighting, furniture, jewelry and ceramic designers on business management. A classically trained musician and former opera singer, he has been able to perform with several local groups and supports small chamber groups. A career background in finance and business management, Fierro currently consults with small firms in Los Angeles to review and manage operational and financial needs. A Mexi-Italiano background has given him a great appreciation for the food culture in Los Angeles. He has an unhealthy relationship with local butchers, grocers, and fish mongers. When not crunching numbers you can find him stuffing his face at local haunts and, of course, ordering another drink. Gin, please!
